A Swiss company by the name of CIBA was the first to manufacture Dianabol for sale in 5mg tablets, and even though they no longer make Dianabol, this is still the name athletes use when referring to it. It is still one of the most popular anabolic steroids on the market today since it provides strong, immediate effects.
A Quick History Lesson
During the mid-1950s, a Maryland doctor named John Bosley Ziegler suspected that Russian athletes were using chemicals to enhance their Olympic performances. Later, he claimed that a Soviet Union coach admitted that his athletes were using synthetic testosterone. Not to be one-upped, Ziegler and a team of scientists from CIBA developed Dianabol, which is a testosterone derivative that has one fewer carbon atom. From that point forward, Dianabol has enjoyed a very rich history – and one fraught with controversy and social stigma.
Proper Use and Dosage
Despite the controversy, it is quite possible to use Dianabol safely. Dosages range from 10mg per day to 50mg per day depending on the athletes goals and tolerance of the steroid. Some prefer to take an entire dose outright about 30 minutes prior to a workout, but others prefer breaking their daily amounts down into two or even three daily doses to create a more stable concentration of Dianabol in the bloodstream throughout the day. This reduces the stomach upset that some users mention.
Stacks and Cycles
It is best to avoid using Dianabol alone as pairing it with other compounds provides greater benefit and reduces the side effects associated with either steroid. Two of the most common and popular stacks are Deca Durabolin and Trenbolone, as these have a synergistic effect with Dianabol, making it work better with a lesser chance of side effects. Although steroid cycles may last anywhere from eight to 24 weeks depending on your experience, you should never use Dianabol for more than eight weeks at a time, and you should take eight-week breaks between your Dianabol cycles.
Any time you use Dianabol, it is necessary to supplement with testosterone and an aromatase inhibitor. Since your body will stop producing sufficient amounts of testosterone on its own, you must supplement in order to avoid the side effects that come from too little testosterone in your system. An aromatase inhibitor helps stop the conversion of Dianabol into estrogen, helping you avoid the side effects associated with too much of this hormone. These include things such as hair loss and gynecomastia.
Is It Safe?
Like all anabolic steroids, Dianabol does have some risks. However, by maintaining the proper dosage and cycle lengths, and by taking the proper supplements, you can use it safely. If you have preexisting medical conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, kidney or liver problems, or a heart condition, you should not use Dianabol as it may exacerbate these conditions.
Dianabol has been one of the most popular anabolic steroids since its development due to its effectiveness. Though it is difficult to find in the West due to legal restrictions imposed by local legislations, it is available in Mexico and certain other countries around the world.
